GROVE HOUSE SURGERY ANNUAL CHALLENGE 2024 -TREK 26 NORTH YORK MOORS

On the 25th May, 5 members of the practice team took on the 26mile Trek in aid of the Alzheimer’s Society. The route started behind the Abbey in Whitby. The first 14 miles meandered its way down the cinder path towards Scarborough, joining the Cleveland Way and then turning around just after Ravenscar. The last 6 miles, were tough but the views made it all worth the walk back up to the finishing line in Whitby. Never been so glad to see that Abbey:)) It had rained pretty much all week so it was nice to finally see some sun! It was a challenging route, particularly after the turnaround which took us over up and over the Cleveland Way. A massive shout out to everyone who sponsored us, your continued support means a great deal to us all. We have currently raised £1390.00.
